      Does a PowerFlex DC Drive have a Safe Torque Off (STO) option?

      The article answers the question if the PowerFlex DC Drive has a Safe Torque Off option.

      The PowerFlex DC Drive does not have any options built into the drive for Safe Torque Off (STO)

      An external solution(s) can be implemented to achieve the Safe Torque Off functionality with the PowerFlex DC Drive.

      NOTE: The PowerFlex DC Drive does have a Fast Stop Function but it does not work in Torque Mode. The motor will coast to a stop in torque mode.
