How to properly vertical loads with Kinetix drives.

Vertical Load and Holding Brake Management with Kinetix drives.

When controlling vertical loads with a Kinetix servo drive, it is important to configure the stopping type and related parameters to correct values based on the requirements of a given application.

Understanding the Stop Categories and the configurable stopping types is critical for selecting the best configuration. It is also important to understand how the vertical load in question is controlled and mechanically connected to the system.

Always use the safest possible stopping methods and base configurations on the appropriate safety standards and best practices.

For a complete description of best practices and usage of available stopping features,  see Vertical Load and Holding Brake Management Application Technique.
