How to use Autotune for Servos

Part 2 explains two methods for tuning a CIP motion axis in Logix Designer. The first method is point-to-point tuning, which is suitable for applications where end-to-end positions of a move are important, but the travel position is not critical. The second method is tracking tuning, which should be used in applications where the following error needs to be minimized at all times. It also covers the importance of adjusting the loop response time to improve the following error. The video concludes with a preview of the next tutorial on the use and purpose of the manual tuning feature in Logix Designer for SIP motion systems.
