Studio 5000 Logix Designer Hardware Overview Part 2
In part 2 of the Studio 5000 Basics series, Eric gives a greater overview of the hardware portion of the hardware used and how it relates to the Studio 5000 Logix Designer software.
Part 2 of the series is about the hardware options that utilize Studio 5000 Logic Designer software. The video also briefly touches on the firmware associated with the hardware and its relevance to the software. The two product lines that use Studio 5000 software are the Compact Logix controllers and the ControlLogix controllers. The Compact Logix controllers have five different style controllers, with the smallest being the L1 series. The ControlLogix controllers are the flagship product for Rockwell and have increased capabilities and fixed chassis size. Both product lines offer a SIL 2 and SIL 3-rated controller.
