How do I wire an encoder to a PowerFlex 525 Drive via the 25-ENC-1 Card?

This article describes how to wire an encoder to a 25-ENC-1 card that is installed into a PowerFlex 525 Drive.

NOTE: The wiring example below if for PNP type Encoders. If you use an NPN Encoder, please wire the encoder as such;

Example of a NPN Encoder (AB 2 Phase Quadrature Encoder)

Out A goes to (-A)

Out B goes to (-B)

VCC Goes to (+V, A and B) jumped together 

OV goes to (CM)
