Course Purpose

This practical course establishes a baseline knowledge of the PowerFlex 520 Series and how it is used on the manufacturing floor. 

Who Should Attend

This course is ideal for engineers, technicians and automation professionals who deal with Variable Frequency Drives for manufacturing equipment or facilities. 

Prerequisites

• ST-VFD-01 Induction Motor Basics 
• ST-VFD-02 VFD Basics 
• Basic knowledge of Windows Operations 

Technology Requirements

All technology is provided for student use in the classroom by Rockwell Automation. It is not necessary for students to bring any technology with them when attending this course.

Hands-On Practice

Throughout this course, you will have the opportunity to practice the skills you have learned through a variety of hands-on exercises using the PowerFlex 525 Trainers.
