ST-SEN-02 - Training for Sensors & IO-Link

Agenda

  • Understand the full capabilities of Smart Sensors & IO-Link
  • How IO-Link sensors integrate with your PLC
  • Sensor customization for your application
  • How IO-Link provides less machine downtime and more production

Course Purpose

Upon completing this course, you will understand advanced smart sensors and IO-Link technology. This course covers a range of topics, including advanced IO-Link concepts, types of IO-Link sensors, and their key features and benefits. Learn about the IO-Link device library, sensor faceplates, and the step-by-step process for setting up an IO-Link master to extract valuable data from sensors. Discover how to modify sensor parameters within the IO-Link system, explore ADC integration with sensors, and unlock advanced diagnostics capabilities.

Who Should Attend

This course is intended for engineers, maintenance staff, and technicians who are going to be using IO-Link.

Prerequisites

To successfully complete this course, the following prerequisites are required:

  • PLC-02 or some experience with Studio 5000s
  • IO-Link experience or knowledge
