ES&E SMS Equipment Alert Program

Scope. This is the sole privacy policy and terms of service for the ES&E SMS Equipment Alert Program.

Program description. The ES&E SMS Equipment Alert Program is an internal, non-marketing text messaging service for authorized ES&E employees and support personnel. Enrolled participants receive recurring automated SMS notifications regarding manufacturing equipment faults, alarms, communication failures, and critical operational conditions at monitored sites. No marketing or promotional messages are sent through this program.

How to enroll. Participants enroll by entering their own mobile telephone number on the ES&E SMS Alert Enrollment Form and checking an unchecked consent box that reads: "I agree to receive recurring automated SMS alerts from ES&E about equipment faults, alarms, and critical conditions. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of employment or service. A participant is not enrolled unless the box is checked and the form is submitted. Consent is not a condition of employment, purchase, or service.

Message frequency. Messages are triggered by equipment events. Message frequency varies; participants may receive no messages during normal operations and multiple messages during an active equipment incident.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your plan.

How to opt out. Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages from the program. Reply START to re-enroll.

Information we collect and how we use it. When you enroll, ES&E collects your name, mobile telephone number, the date and time of consent, the page on which consent was given, and the version of the consent disclosure you agreed to. ES&E uses this information solely to deliver equipment alert messages to you, to honor opt-out requests, and to maintain a record of consent.

Information sharing. We do not share, sell, rent, or provide your mobile telephone number, text messaging originator opt-in data, or SMS consent to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. ES&E may share mobile telephone numbers and consent status with service providers only as necessary to operate and deliver this program, such as our messaging platform provider and telecommunications carriers. These providers are prohibited from using this information for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Carriers. Supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Changes to this policy. ES&E may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision.
