Open Order Reports

As we all work through supply chain issues and the longer lead times that frequently arise, ES&E has been continuously working to reduce or eliminate the impact of extended lead times.

However, when extended lead times can’t be avoided, we realize that being able to plan to utilize the most accurate data is critical.  Many of our major manufacturers have recently improved the quality and sophistication of the electronic tools they use to calculate and update expected shipment dates. ES&E captures the improved forecasting data to provide you with an accurate tool for planning. Our new subscription-based reports compile the nightly data we receive from our larger manufacturers and the dates captured by our expediting team for those manufacturers not sending us automatic updates.

Although we are seeing improvements and stabilization of the shipment forecasts, all of our manufacturers are continuing to experience fluctuations in raw materials, which is directly linked to the expected delivery dates that we are provided. With this being said, ES&E has created three different open-order reports to help show a summary of orders by different line items.

  1. Line Item Ship Date Summary: Summary of Open Orders by Line Item with Expected Factory Ship Dates
  2. Line Item Ship Date Summary with Quantity: Summary of Open Orders by Line Item with Expected Factory Ship Dates and Quantity
  3. Purchase Order Ship Date Summary: Summary of Open Orders with Expected Factory Ship Dates
